Mounts For Telescopes

Some astronomers like to mix and match components to fit their needs and budgets. They'll put an expensive optical tube on a simple and less expensive mount because they don't plan on doing photography and need something light for traveling. Or they'll want to upgrade the inexpensive mount that came with their prepackaged scope to make it steadier or more suitable for astrophotography.
