Product Description
This off-axis filter has a 152mm/6" clear aperture Type 2+ glass filter element. The filter is mounted on a white fiberboard insert in an aluminum cell with a 400mm/15.75" internal diameter to fit scopes with a maximum diameter of 398.5mm (15-11/16").
It fits all versions of the Celestron 14" Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope (C14, CM-1400, CGE-1400, etc.).
You can custom fit it to scopes with an O.D. of 393.7mm (15-1/2") to 398.5mm (15-11/16") by using the extra supplied self-adhesive felt.
Always remember to install the solar filter before pointing your telescope at the Sun to avoid instant and irreversible damage to your eyesight.
