I purchased this to go with the CEM60 and I am glad I did! This is a lot lighter that the tripod for the CGE Pro. The setup was easy and I love the rolling case! (Posted on 1/11/2019)

Bought this to complement my recent CEM60 purchase. Very solid mobile pier, no personal complaints abut the height, I use mine for astrophotography, so despite having bought the pier extension, I do not use it in order to keep it lower to the ground). Love that it comes with anti-vibration pads and the internal storage for the legs, only complaint is that it's a little tricky/slow to level. (Posted on 1/9/2019)

Pros: fantastic stability for my CEM60 mount, and great value for money.

Cons: minor points off for the quality of the materials and finish (the paint flakes fairly easily around the threads for the locating pins, for example). Setting it up from scratch can also be a bit fiddly.

Still, this has no impact on the way it performs ... and it is nearly one-third the price of equivalent tri-piers!

Consider purchasing with the rolling case for a portable imaging setup. (Posted on 10/18/2018)

Solid mount. Tricky to assemble and not as tall as would have liked. Hardware will rust outdoors. (Posted on 10/16/2018)

My wife purchased this for me as an x-mas gift. During set-up I noticed one of the legs was out of round. A quick email to Kevin at ioptron customer support and issue was quickly remedied. This is rock solid, versatile, transportable, with easy set-up and tear down. I'm using it conjunction with an IEQ45 which provides a seamless soup to nuts experience. I will note that the native tripod for the ieq45 had an alignment peg protruding from the platform base which allows for fine Azi. adjustment. I do not know if the tri-pier was supposed to come with one but there is a threaded space for one. A trip to the local hardware store and I was able to accommodate the Azimuth challenge. - thus minus 1 star. (Posted on 10/10/2018)
