I have been very please with the stability of the trip-pier for my CEM60 and AT130. I have long experience with very nice photographic and video tripods, and this trip-pier is definitely more stable than any of those. The trick-pier without the case wasn't in stock, so I was sort of forced to buy the one with the rolling case, but I'm glad I did. It is engineered very well to fit inside the case, and while it takes longer than just extending the legs on a tripod, it works very well. (Posted on 10/31/2018)

I have the red/black version of this tri-pier. It is lightweight and easy to transport, especially with the carrying case. The tri-pier is sturdy and extremely stable, but unless you start with a level surface it can be a challenge to level it. It is also tricky to slide the center pier section vertically in the rings that hold the legs. The rings that hold the pier do not have any protective felt or soft material so the center pier gets scratched quickly, starting with the first use.

All things considered, I like the pier and it serves its intended purpose very well. (Posted on 10/23/2018)

Pros: fantastic stability for my CEM60 mount, and great value for money. The rolling case is a great addition for my portable imaging setup.

Cons: minor points off for the quality of the materials and finish (the paint flakes fairly easily around the threads for the locating pins, for example). Setting it up from scratch can also be a bit fiddly.

Still, this has no impact on the way it performs ... and it is nearly one-third the price of equivalent tri-piers. (Posted on 10/18/2018)
