I decided to add additional counterweights to my EQG mount as i was using only one weight at the end of the counterweight shaft and might be causing some of my guiding issues. I now have both weights near the base of the mount instead of the end of the shaft which should help reduce the time it takes the mount to recover after guide pulses. Well its a counter weight .. I needed an extra one to balance my 8" Newtonian and camera rig on my Sky-Watcher EQ6r-Pro. It nice to have a third counter weight now that matches the other two I have. The finish is nice on it, and the plastic sleeve in these grip like glue yet don't scratch up the chrome counter weight shaft which I appreciate. The price is very reasonable. Highly recommend if you need that extra weight on your Sky-Watcher mount. (Posted on 12/8/2018)

This is the standard counterweight for the Atlas EQ-G mount. Its also known as the skywatcher EQ6 overseas. Used 3 of them for many imaging sessions thru my cassegrains and refractors on an EQ-G mount. Very reasonable price. (Posted on 12/3/2018)
