Explore Scientific 16" Truss Tube Dobsonian Telescope

Ive owned scopes up to 8in before this one. I was happy with the views from those refractors and SCT’s. But first night out with this gran-daddy and I was blown away. It seemed far more immersive an experience, and so many more stars it wasn’t even close, as that would be expected in this aperture. I may have gotten an above average quality sample, not sure, but the stars are tack sharp! My first reflector so none to compare to, but figure it’s very good since views are nearly as sharp as my APO refractors. Highly recommend if you don’t mind the weight. Packs up fairly small and can fit in back seat of a small sedan.
