My 17 hour Lithium Pro battery is lighter by about half compared to my old lead acid 17 hour Power Tank. It's features are not obvious, so let me explain them. It has a standard 12 V cigarette port and a separate charging port. The charging port is dual purpose and can also be used to operate Celestron mounts using a special cable that is supplied with the battery and attaches to the charging port on one end and at the other end, screws into the power input port on my CGEM II mount. The battery has a button to press to turn it on and off, but if it is being charged, you do not need to turn it on to do so. It has a fast and slow USB charging port.
It comes with a Velcro strap allowing you to wrap it onto a tripod leg.
I do not know if the Celestron Power cable will work with other mounts, which do not have a threaded port, but I suspect friction alone would be adequate for non-Celestron mounts.
I have noted one quirk about this unit in that its battery status display is a little misleading: I plugged it in to recharge it last night and it was fully recharged with all four lights illuminated. This morning, It was displaying only three lights when I turned it on. I plugged it in again and the third light was flashing and the fourth light was dark. Five minutes later, the display revealed four steady lights meaning the charging was complete. So this means to me that the battery display tends to underestimate its power reserve, at least when it is near its full capacity.
I have not had it out under the stars all night, so I cannot comment on its actual capacity. It can certainly supply at least four hours of power to the mount and to one dew heater strap for a five inch refractor lens cell. (Posted on 8/23/2022)

I also have one of the older/smaller LiFePO power tanks. It served me well for a while, but I knew I needed a bit more battery life for a week trip to Big Bend, TX with my Celestron AVX. The Powertank Pro has not disappointed. Much lighter than a car battery, I can use it for a while in remote locations. Plus, during the day, my family can charge their iOS devices (well, at least two at a time). I think if it detects a device has been unplugged, it will stop powering both USB ports. I need to verify that, but just make sure to push the power button if other devices are still attached. (Posted on 10/23/2019)

I've powered a mount and camera at once with this. It straps right to the mount leg out of the way, which is great to prevent accidents. At under 5 pounds I have extra room in a case for it. In a nutshell, it's a great little power supply and worth the price. (Posted on 10/4/2019)

I have one of the older/smaller LiFePO power tanks - it powers my Celestron CPC 9.25 Edge HD very well - will run the scope for several nights, but I bought the new Pro version because it has the 12v lighter port - I use the small power outlet to power the scope and when I need my dew heaters, the 12v outlet powers those. When I'm not using the heaters, this battery runs the Edge about three times as long as the smaller version. When I'm using the heater (depending on the power setting) I can still get four or five nights out of the battery before it needs a re-charge.

This is amazing technology - the guys at Celestron are really putting out some great technology products - I highly recommend this power-pack. (Posted on 7/22/2019)
