Slip-fit adapter to use non-Questar eyepieces in older Questar 3.5" scopes

I recently received a 1971 3.5” Questar as a gift. It’s a beautiful scope that gives very sharp images, but is limited by the fact that you can only use the two stock, threaded, screw-in eyepieces. To enable use of my wider 1.25” eyepiece collection, I purchased this TeleVue slip fit adapter. Installation was simple and it does exactly what it’s supposed to. One possible improvement would be if the adapter had a brass compression ring fitting, as it only has the older style thumb screw clamping system. (Posted on 10/28/2019)
