This 2.1” tall adapter has 2” diameter internal threads on one end that attach to the rear cell of 7” to 9.25” aperture Celestron and Meade catadioptric telescope optical tubes. The opposite end has a 2.75” diameter opening that accepts the body of any Feather Touch focuser having 0.8” or 1.5” of drawtube travel and an optional internal braking system. The 2” travel Feather Touch focuser can be used, but will bottom out in the adapter after about 1.6” of travel. This adapter is best-suited for use with the 1.5” travel focuser.

This tall adapter is not designed for use with fork-mounted telescopes, as the focuser body can hit the telescope drive base when trying to swing through the forks. It is best-suited for use with catadioptric optical tubes installed on German equatorial mounts.

Three recessed setscrews in the adapter fit into a groove in the Feather Touch focuser body to lock the focuser in place. Precision machined of aluminum and black anodized.
