Product Description
This cover will protect a 6" to 8" Celestron Advanced Series Newtonian reflector or 6" to 8" Meade Schmidt-Newtonian reflector on a German equatorial mount, as well as any number of other German equatorial reflectors that do not exceed the following measurements. It is designed for a mount/scope combination requiring 62" of vertical cover length as measured from the end of the scope dew shield down to the end of the counter weight shaft with the scope parked parallel to the polar axis. The cover has a major height (the right side of the cover in the image) of 62" The length of the cover along the sloping top is 46", and the width of the cover is 14".

Until recently, I had to set up and break down my gear every time I imaged. The cover was invaluable to me, protecting the scope during the hours between the end of the imaging session and break down the next morning. It also helped to keep the scope and mount dust-free in the garage where they were stored. Now that I have an observatory in which the equipment is set up permanently, the cover does a fantastic job of fending off dust and bugs. Excellent product! (Posted on 7/22/2019)

This cover allows me to leave my 14” DOB fully assembled in my garage so I can be observing within 5 mins of opening my garage door. I also can leave my scope out during overnight star parties from my Club & disammble the scope in the morning. Great product! (Posted on 11/18/2018)
