This full aperture filter fits the Questar 7" Maksutov-Cassegrain Maksutov-Cassegrain at a small fraction the cost of a Questar-brand filter. It has a 178mm/7" clear aperture Type 2+ glass filter element. The filter element is mounted in an aluminum cell with a 212mm/8.37" internal diameter specifically to fit the 7" Questar only.
Always remember to install the solar filter before pointing your telescope at the Sun to avoid instant and irreversible damage to your eyesight.
