ZWO TC40 Carbon Fiber Tripod

The ZWO TC40 carbon fiber tripod is really quite amazing.  At only a hair over 5 pounds it can hold 110 pounds of equipment on top of it.  It can break down to a nice compact 19.6 inches for easy transport.  For all the good it has one minor issue, it extended height.  The tripod at its highest point is only 31.5 inches.  This will cause taller observers an issue through the evening.  However, you can buy several different pier extensions to raise the height of the head to a more appropriate level.  This light weight tripod, with a large payload, makes for an incredible portable addition to your imaging rig.

The tripod will also work with the iOptron GEM45, iOptron CEM40, Sky-Watcher AZ-GTi, and Rainbow Astro 135E.
