Product Description

The Celestron auxiliary port splitter #93919 is a cable with two six-pin auxiliary port inputs connected in parallel to a single six-pin auxiliary port output. It is needed for connecting the Celestron StarSense auto alignment accessory hand control and camera cables to telescopes or mounts having only one hand controller port, such as the older Celestron NexStar GT and and current LCM series scopes and the CG-5 mount. It allows the StarSense camera cable and new hand control cable to connect to the scope or mount independently for proper StarSense operation.

I have this accessory for my Nexstar mount and use it to quickly attach and detach accessories in the dark. The connector that is used for the Hand control is very hard to attach after you detach it. This unit enables me to quickly change accessories without fumbling to attach a hard to reach connector. Just connect once and get 2 ports. (Posted on 11/14/2018)

Unfortunately, my CGEM DX mount only has on Aux input and when using a StarSense and any other device needing the Aux port you need a spilter It works plug and play and is easy to install. My only negative is it hangs from the port so I've added double sided removable tape to stick it to the mount. (Posted on 10/16/2018)
