Celestron 2" Starbright XLT Enhanced aluminum mirror diagonal for SCTs

This is a quality diagonal that works very nicely. I originally purchased it for my C8 but have since adapted it with a different nosepiece to use in my AT102ED refractor. It gives nice bright views and includes an adapter to use with 1.25" eyepieces that will also take 2" filters. It is sturdy and can hold onto an ES 17/92 (a nearly 3 pound eyepiece) without issue. The included case is a nice little bonus that I've used for eyepieces and accessories. The build quality and adaptability really make this a good value. (Posted on 9/1/2019)

I have several SCT telescopes. I usually use a 2" SCT threaded visual back and a standard 2" diagonal from Stellarview or Williams Optical on my SCT's. However, I happened on the chance to get this diagonal. I decided to take a shot. I was glad I did. This diagonal is well made. The build quality is excellent, and the view is bright across the field. I now use this diagonal every time I set up an SCT. It is less expensive than the 2" visual back option with a quality standard diagonal, so I will look to buy another soon.
