I returned to astronomy after a 20 year break. I have never owned an EQ mount before, my only experience was with an LX200 style mount.
I would say the learning curve on this is steeper than I thought, but once you get it down, it becomes intuitive.
The mount is very sturdy, and with the roughly 17 lbs of my scope and accessories, it's rock solid. I have no experience with Astro-Photography, so I can't comment on that, but for visual it is never shaky, even with a slight breeze.
It is also pretty quiet, and the tracking is very smooth.
The people are also great, I had a few issues on my end during the ordering process, and they quickly took care of me and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. (Posted on 7/28/2020)
