I purchased several PF eyepieces based on their bargain price, low weight and decent eye relief. The weight is especially helpful for my homemade travel scopes as it helps mitigate balance problems. In my opinion these eyepieces are terrific! The 19 mm has a beautiful wide field with great sharpness and clarity. I also like the 5.5 mm, which to my eye, outperforms some much more expensive eyepieces from premium manufacturers.
When using the eyepieces I flip the rubber eye guard down, allowing easier visibility of the entire fov. One nice thing about these is that eye positioning is very easy. Not sure why this is, but the PFs seem a little more user friendly in regard to eye positioning than my Pentax XWs. (Posted on 3/4/2024)
